Samini and Sarkodie Are the Greatest of All Time in Ghana’s Music Industry – Bulldog
Artiste manager cum entertainment critic, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, know in showbiz circles as Bulldog, has stated that Samini and Sarkodie are by far the greatest of all time in Ghana’s Music Industry.
He made this statement on Hitz Fms’ Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim.
According to the outspoken former manager of Shatta Wale, with regard to influence in the Ghanaian Music Industry- impact on generations, no one comes close to Samini and Sarkodie.
“These two guys are legends and will forever be legends because you can trace people who sound like them…. Not one, not two….,” Mr. Asiamah said.
DJ Slim, the host of the program, interjected when Bull Dog asked openly if anyone in the studio could name any other artiste with such monumental influence, and mentioned the likes of Obrafour and Kwadee.
Bull Dog however was quick to add that even though Obrafour and Kwadee did their bit, they cannot be compared to Samini and Sarkodies as far as impact on generations is concerned.
“I think the greatest of all-time is the one a lot of people are mimicking…. So let say if 2Pac had a lot of people rapping like him then you know this guy has influenced a lot of generations,” he said.
