Sarkodie Talks About His Twi Dominated Verse In Stir It Up Remix
Stir It Up by Bob Marley was remade with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and it is making the headline since its release.
Sarkodie dropped one of the hardest verses on the reggae record. His verse has rejuvenated the hit track originally released in 1978.
Fans have quizzed why the rapper dropped the Twi verse since it’s an international record. Twi, a Ghanaian language mostly spoken by the Akans was used by 80% of the ‘Non-Living Thing’ hitmaker’s verse.

Well, he has opened up about why Twi dominated in his verse. The rapper in a Twitter Space revealed that he did four different verses for the songs.
Bob Marley’s team specifically told him they wanted Twi in the song and that’s why they contacted him to hop on the song. Stir It Up which is a typical love song had a diversity of languages that portrayed the culture of Jamaica and Ghana.
However, fans and music lovers have tipped Sarkodie to be nominated for the Grammy after this hit monster dropped.
