Mahama Ayariga, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bawku Central, has informed the police of the second protest against Dr. Enerst Addison, the Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
According to Mr. Ayariga’s letter, the protest is intended to call for the resignation of Dr. Addison, along with those of his board members and subordinates.
The demonstration is set to take place in Accra on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
From Obro Spot, protesters will march via Adabraka and arrive at Farisco/Kingsway.
From Rawlings Park in front of Makola, they will proceed to the Central Post Office before coming to an end in front of the Bank of Ghana headquarters.
