Life in and around Tuobodom has been seriously affected by the reported continuous fighting, which is thought to have claimed the lives of twelve individuals.
Tragically, the dispute has escalated to the point that a truck driver was killed in the township after a barrage of gunfire.
Tuobodom is in a state of increased dread and instability as a result of the violent encounter, which has led many citizens to leave the town in search of safety.
The long-simmering chieftaincy conflict has finally reached a boiling point, affecting not just the persons directly engaged but also innocent onlookers and the larger society.
Although the security services are trying to stabilize the situation and protect the citizens, it is still unstable.
