In the Greater Accra Region, a destructive fire tore through the busy Zongo Lane, close to Rawlings Park, burning several stores and goods.
According to Citi News, the fire started at a small store, before spreading to adjacent establishments and erupting clouds of dense, black smoke into the sky.
Thankfully, firefighters were there quickly to put out the fire.
They finally succeeded in putting out the fire after a protracted and intense effort.
The entire amount of the damage was visible as the smoke cleared; numerous stores had been devastated, leaving electronics, apparel, and other products reduced to ruins.
While members of the Ghana National incident Service are looking into the origin of the incident, it is yet unknown what started the fire.
