The Ghana Police Service has arrested Mark Forson in line of investigations on the death of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen .
An informant told the Herald Dr. Boahen was found dead at his East Legon on the 19th of March 2024. Mark Forson claimed to have resigned from his role as a house help days prior to the incident.
The police in a statement said investigators picked the suspect, Mark Forson on Tuesday following a complaint lodged by the deceased’s family.
“On 17th March 2024, the police received a complaint from some relations of the deceased that he had been found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances.
“A team of police investigators and crime scene experts immediately visited the scene to commence investigation leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, aged 52, was a son to the great New Patriotic Party stalwart Professor Albert AduBoahen. The latter was also the 1992 flagbearer of the political party in the general elections and lost. Dr.Christopher was also a younger brother to Charles AduBoahen who served as a minister of state at the Finance Ministry.
The late Dr. was rendered wheelchair-bound as result of an unfortunate accident years ago.
His death has left family and friends speechless as he was known to be a very kind but private person.
He is a product Achimota School and KNUST where he studied Electrical Engineering. He also earned an MBA at Wharton School in the University of Pennsylvania in America
