Stonebwoy words after graduation from GIMPA
Stonebwoy words after graduation from GIMPA.
Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, has advised his peers to seize every opportunity to further their education.
This comes after he graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a master’s degree in Public Administration on July 25, 2024.
The Afro Dancehall star encouraged musicians and others to pursue education early rather than waiting until the end of their careers.
“When you have the chance to educate yourself formally and gain more knowledge, you should seize it to show the world,” he said. Stonebwoy acknowledged the challenges of balancing education with other responsibilities but maintained that nothing is impossible. “Nothing is that easy and nothing is that difficult. Once it’s not impossible, then it’s achievable. I think that’s what I just proved,” he added.

Stonebwoy congratulated his fellow graduates and expressed hope that his journey would inspire others to pursue their educational goals. “If you find the opportunity to educate yourself and learn more, grab it, and don’t wait until you finish your career before you start your education.
This will inspire people who want to educate themselves. Everything is education, whether formally or informally, so let’s grab it and be inspired,” he concluded.
The graduation ceremony was a celebratory event, with Stonebwoy’s family and friends in attendance, including fellow musician Criss Waddle, who arrived in a Ferrari to show his support. Stonebwoy’s speech and accomplishments serve as a compelling reminder of the value of education and personal development.
