Tension Rises In Kakpayili After Discovery Of Bodies Of 2 Children
Two kids have been discovered dead in Kakpayili, in the Northern Region’s Tamale metropolis.
The fact that the children’s decomposing bodies were left in a car behind Mallam Madaha’s house leads the locals to believe that the children were killed for ritualistic reasons.
The two three-year-old youngsters vanished last Saturday, according to Hafiz Andani, the assemblyman for the Kakpayili electoral district.
The boys were looked for and searched for, but after two days they were still missing, an official police report was filed.
Alhaji Hafiz reported the boys missing on the 22nd.
Residents noted they were last seen near Mallam Madaha’s home. The chief summoned Mallam Madaha for questioning but he denied involvement, as did his wife. Residents became agitated, prompting the chief to call the police, who took Mallam Madaha to the station.
Later, the bodies were found in a car behind his house, sparking fury among residents who then burned and vandalized his home.
The assemblyman urged the police to ensure justice, emphasizing the community’s demand for fairness, echoing concerns over the Takoradi girls’ case.
