Mohammed Kudus Declares JJ Okocha As Africa’s G.O.A.T

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, currently shining in his debut season for English Premier League outfit West Ham United, has voiced his admiration for football legend Augustine “Jay-Jay” Okocha.

In an interview with EA Sports, Kudus hailed Okocha as the greatest African footballer of all time, praising his exceptional creativity and skill during his illustrious career, notably with former club Bolton Wanderers.

“I will say Okocha. Explaining through my lens how I see creative players try to entertain the game, that can never be washed away. Fans can never forget the entertainment you give them on the pitch. I know now goals and assists are important but I like creative players and players that love to entertain the fans, try to do something than what everyone is doing than just passing the ball.”

Okocha showcased his talent across various top leagues, including the French Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, the Bundesliga with Frankfurt, and notably, during his successful four-year stint in the Premier League with Bolton.

Okocha achieved notable success with the Nigerian national team, winning the African Cup of Nations in 1994 and the Olympic Games in 1996. Additionally, he represented Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup tournaments of 1994, 1998, and 2002.

Mohammed Kudus has been exceptional for West Ham United this season, scoring 16 goals in 38 games across all competitions. His debut season has showcased his attacking prowess and consistency on the field. Kudus’s goal-scoring ability has greatly contributed to West Ham’s offensive efforts, making him a key player for the team. Additionally, he has demonstrated versatility and creativity in playmaking, enhancing the team’s attacking options. Overall, Kudus’s performances have earned him widespread acclaim and established him as a pivotal figure for West Ham’s future success.
