Greater Accra Regional Minister Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover oversaw a massive cleanup effort in the Accra city as part of his effort to preserve the maxim “leadership by example.”
Under the direction of Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Traditional Council initiated a cleaning program, and Titus-Glover led his crew to desilt the gutters around Tema Station.
The goal of the sanitation effort is to improve the area’s environmental hygiene.
The Regional Minister entered the blocked gutter wearing a nose mask, boots, and gloves, then used a shovel to clean the debris that had gathered.
After the first two days of the campaign’s cleanup efforts in Tema, today was action three.
Titus-Glover urged people to back the effort to establish Accra as Ghana’s cleanest metropolis.
He also issued a warning, saying that anyone caught using unhygienic methods following the exercise would face consequences.
