A Hyundai Aero Town minibus carrying more than fifty workers from Infixwood Limited was involved in a tragic collision with a timber truck on the Mim-Goaso stretch.

It was a terrible Black Friday for the neighborhood as eight individuals lost their lives and forty-two were injured in the disaster.
The driver of the minibus reportedly tried to pass the lumber truck but ended up driving into it because the truck’s smoke was obstructing his view.
The incident had a tremendous impact that resulted in several injuries and fatalities.
For treatment, the injured were first taken to Goaso Municipal Hospital.
Those in more serious condition, however, were sent to other institutions for additional care.
The Goaso community is still in shock over the catastrophe, and authorities are still looking into what caused it.
