At the Tono riverbed in the Kasena-Nankana Municipality of the Upper East Region, a biker and a pillion rider have been discovered dead.
The two were traveling from Navrongo to Chaina when the rider lost control and swerved into the dam, killing them, according to Accra-based Citi News.
They have been recognized as visitors to Navrongo who lived in Chaina in the Kasena-Nankana West District.
When they returned to work on Friday morning, some irrigation farmers found the bodies and called the police.
Since then, the bodies have been placed at the Navrongo Hospital.
