The Electoral Commission (EC) has received a formal petition from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) requesting a forensic examination of the voter registration.
This came about following the Tuesday, September 17, 2024, “Enough Is Enough” rally.
The NDC claims that their request for a forensic audit is legitimate and that there shouldn’t be any opposition to carrying out the audit if there is nothing to conceal.
The party has filed a petition with Parliament, highlighting the significance of creating a legitimate voter registration for the next elections in 2024 and requesting that the House use its power to guarantee that these objectives be fulfilled.
A forensic examination of the voter registration and the prompt release of the results are among the requests, which also call for a bipartisan probe of the actions of the Electoral Commission (EC).
