Western Regional Chiefs pay courtesy call on Prez Mahama

The chiefs, in a warm interaction with the President at the Jubilee House, expressed their satisfaction with his leadership in the first six months of his administration.

Nana Nketiah, who spoke on behalf of the delegation, humorously remarked that they had come to see for themselves if the President was “sitting well” in office.

Referring to President Mahama as “Ababio” (second coming), the Omanhen of Essikado Traditional Area praised the government’s people-centred policies, citing the recent appreciation of the Ghana Cedi as evidence of sound economic management.

“For once, we see that our country is going through some transformation,” Nana Nketiah stated, commending the President for his exemplary leadership.

He added that the government’s “reset agenda” had resonated well with Ghanaians, bringing hope and renewed confidence in governance.

The Western Regional House of Chiefs assured the President of their continuous support and engagement, noting that the region remains dear to his heart.

“We intend to engage you from time to time to discuss development issues affecting our people,” Nana Nketiah said.
