Widows & Artisans In Nkoranza North Gets Support From Lordina Mahama

In the Nkoranza North constituency of the Bono East region, near Busunya, hairdressers and dressmakers have received equipment donations from former First Lady Lordina Mahama.

Mrs. Mahama contributed 120 sewing machines, 100 hair dryers, and accessories through the Lordina Foundation.

Supporting newly graduated apprentices and “master” craftswomen who instruct young girls in the district is the goal of the intervention.

In a brief speech, Mrs. Mahama said that she has always been very happy to encourage female artisans.

She urged the recipients to prioritize providing excellent customer service as a way to show their dedication and resolve to growing their company.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Mahama’s wife reaffirmed her husband’s pledge to implement a revolutionary Free Apprenticeship Program.

If the policy is put into place, apprentices, as well as their masters and madams, will greatly profit, and their businesses will prosper.

Mrs. Mahama emphasized that the program is a ray of hope for the community since it has the capacity to guarantee these artisans a better future.

Additionally, Mrs. Mahama gave gifts to 300 widows in the district.
