According to Chairman Wontumi, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the chairman of the Ashanti Regional NPP, Ghana provides a better quality of life than London.
Wontumi stated in an interview with Abusua FM that he brought his kids to Ghana because of the welcoming atmosphere and affordable cost of living there.
“I always say Ghana is better than London,” Wontumi declared. If I do, am I a joker or is this a place where I would utter jokes like this?
He moved his kids here because, in his opinion, Ghana is a more delightful place to live than London.
The NPP member cited programs like the Planting for Food and Jobs program and free education as examples of how the Akufo-Addo administration has sped up Ghana’s development.
He asserted that these initiatives have resulted in lower food costs, with tomatoes currently selling for as little as GH¢5.
Chairman Wontumi further bragged that he could easily eat GH¢10 worth of beans and gari because food is so cheap.
