Roma Issues Encouraging Report Following Ndicka ‘s Collapse

AS Roma provided an optimistic report regarding Evan Ndicka’s health, confirming that he is on discharge from the hospital.

The Serie A match between AS Roma and Udinese on Sunday delayed and eventually cancelled following Ndicka’s sudden collapse. The Ivorian player received immediate medical attention on the field before exiting on a stretcher and transported to a hospital.

Initially admitted with acute precordial pain and displaying non-specific changes in his electrocardiogram, his recent medical evaluation shows significant improvement in his condition.

The official statement

“Following acute precordial pain and non-specific changes on the electrocardiogram carried out in the first emergency room at the stadium, player Evan Ndicka was admitted to the Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital in Udine. First and second-level cardiological checks were negative for cardiac pathology. In light of the latest tests, the clinical picture is compatible with chest trauma with minimal left pneumothorax. The player is on discharge and will carry out further checks in Rome.

Pairetto, the public present at the Udine stadium and the medical and healthcare staff of the hospital.
