Thomas Partey Likely to Leave Arsenal, Says Fabrizio Romano

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to depart Arsenal before to the commencement of the 2024–2025 campaign.

This was said by the well-known transfer guru when discussing Arsenal’s future goals on the JD Football Podcast. Arsenal came just short of winning the English Premier League in 2023–2024.

With 91 points, two more than Arsenal’s 89 points, Manchester City won the league and claimed its fourth consecutive title.

Fabrizio Romano hinted during his podcast interview that the Black Stars player is expected to leave, and the Gunners are also slowly moving toward signing a left full back.

“They have several players lined up. There is a good chance they will bring in a new midfielder-Thomas Partey will leave, Jorginho has been extended, but I also think they want to sign a new left-back.”

In a season plagued by injuries, Partey had limited playtime as the Gunners pursued their first EPL title in 21 years.

He appeared in only 16 games across all competitions last season.
