At Tamale Jubilee Park, thousands of people have gathered to witness the official national campaign kickoff of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the largest opposition party.
With this launch, the party hopes to invigorate its members and grassroots and disseminate a message of restoration and hope.
The NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, will present the party’s 2024 campaign themes and plans alongside other executives, founding fathers, lawmakers, and former government appointees.
It is reported that a large number of young people, the elderly, and traditional leaders have shown up eager to hear the NDC’s speeches.
