Asante Kotoko Signs 11th Player For 2024/25 Season

Samuel Tenadu, a highly regarded midfield player, has officially joined Asante Kotoko during the current summer transfer window.

Tenadu signs a three-year contract to join the Porcupine Warriors from Legon Cities.

Kotoko posted on social media to announce the deal and announced that the defensive midfielder has signed a three-year contract.

The club said in a post on X:

“Kumasi Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Tenadu, a talented defensive midfielder from Legon Cities, on a three-year deal. The 21-year-old successfully completed his medical in Kumasi earlier this week and will be joining the squad ahead of the upcoming season,”

After previously competing in the Ghana Premier League for Ebony FC in Legon Cities and Kumasi, Samuel Tenadu has joined Asante Kotoko.

His signing with Asante Kotoko is intended to strengthen the team’s roster following Richmond Lamptey’s transfer at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 football season.

Tenadu joins them as their eleventh addition as they get ready for the 2024–2025 Ghana Premier League season, which is set to begin on September 6.

Kotoko’s season will begin on the road against Karela United.
