Ronaldo Sets New Record With His New Youtube Account

Within hours of the YouTube channel’s introduction on Wednesday, millions of people had signed up to follow Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal international posted 19 videos of himself and his family on his “UR Cristiano” account.

In just ninety minutes, the Al Nassr forward broke the global record for the fastest channel to reach one million members, proving that it was an instant hit. With 15.4m now, he is still growing.

The 39-year-old Ronaldo shared a video on Instagram of his kids holding a gold “play button” plaque that he received from YouTube as a reward for hitting one million subscribers.

“A present for my family ❤️,” he wrote. I want to thank all of the SIUUUbscribers.

Ronaldo swiftly overtook Argentina captain and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi’s 2.31 million subscriber count, but he still has a ways to go before catching up to Mr. Beast, who has 331 million subscribers, the most subscribed YouTuber on the network.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player has previously broken records on social media.

Ronaldo boasts an impressive following of 636 million on Instagram, 112.6 million on X, and 170 million on Facebook.
