KODA Goes Home This Friday

After five months of his death, famed Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, better known by his stage name KODA, is scheduled to be laid to rest on Friday, September 20, 2024.

A private burial service will be held after the last funeral rites at the KICC Dominion Centre on Spintex Road in Accra.

This follows the original burial date—originally set for July 5, 2024—being rescheduled for September 20, 2024.

At the age of 45, KODA, a well-known personality in Ghana’s gospel music scene, departed this life on Sunday, April 21, 2024, following a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife and three children.

His legacy lives on through his music, including popular songs like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” which have left a lasting impact on the industry.
