Sudan Irrives in Ghana For AFCON Qualifiers Game Against Black Stars

Prior to their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification against the Black Stars in 2025, the first group of the Sudanese national team has arrived in Ghana.

Leading the way was former Ghanaian coach Kwesi Appiah, whose team arrived in the country on Sunday night.

Mr. Abubakar Al-Mahy, the manager of the national squad, will lead the remaining members of the team when they arrive from Saudi Arabia later today.

Sudan defeated Niger to start their qualifying campaign, but they suffered a blow when they lost 2-1 to Angola, finishing second in the group with three points.

Despite this, Appiah is committed on obtaining a win against Ghana to boost their qualification

The last training session for Sudan will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday night in anticipation of the first leg, which begins on Thursday, October 10 at 16:00 GMT.

The Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya will host the rematch on October 14.
