Diddy Makes Social Media Comeback With First Post On Instagram After His Arrest

On Tuesday, October 15, Diddy took to Instagram to wish his daughter Love Sean Combs a happy birthday, breaking his social media seclusion.

Love Combs turned two on Tuesday, and to celebrate, Diddy’s account shared a slideshow of pictures, which included shots from a cake-eating photo shoot and an ocean-side hangout with her dad.

“Happy birthday!” to you! I hope you have a happy birthday! Sweetheart, happy birthday! To you, a happy birthday! “Happy Birthday, daddy loves you, @loveseancombs,” he wrote as the picture’s description.

The Instagram post’s comments are disabled, and it’s still unknown how the photo went up given that Diddy is incarcerated right now.

For a response, Billboard has contacted Diddy’s representatives.

Diddy and Dana Tran welcomed Love Combs in October 2022 — the youngest of his seven children. He also wished their daughter a happy 1st birthday last year on social media. “Happy Birthday, Baby Love! @loveseancombs I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! Love DaDa,” he wrote to Instagram, per Vibe.

On September 16, Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken into custody in New York on federal allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking. Diddy entered a not guilty plea, and Marc Agnifilo, his lawyer, has defended his client’s innocence.

Diddy’s legal team filed a request with the court last week, asking for an investigation into whether the federal authorities disclosed case-related material to the media. This material included surveillance footage showing Combs physically abusing his then-girlfriend Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

The embattled Bad Boy mogul has repeatedly been denied bond and will remain behind bars until his trial begins in May 2025.
