Five Mpraeso SHS Students Remanded On Gang Rape Charges (Gala)
Five Mpraeso Senior High School (SHS) pupils who are accused of raping a female student have been placed under police custody for ten days.
The accused were arranged before His Worship Isaac Agyei of the Nkawkaw District court on Friday.
This came about after the court on Thursday released them, but the police had them back.
It is anticipated that they will resurface on Monday, October 28, 2024.
In a related development, James Affadu, the headmaster of the school, has been asked by the court to explain why the administration failed to report the incident to the police or appear in court.
The other three students who are currently at large have also been given a bench warrant by the court for their arrest.
