Nadia Buari Reveals: Movie Kissing Scenes Aren’t Real

Nadia Buari, a well-known actress from Ghana, has offered her experiences on the kissing sequences that are frequently seen in movies.

She stated in a TV3 interview that these scenes are all fictional.

“The actors’ goal in these scenes is to create the illusion of reality in order to engage the audience,” noted Nadia, who recently revealed the trailer for her upcoming film alongside Majid Michel.

Although the actors may seem to be kissing for real, she explained, this is only true for their roles and not for the actors themselves because there are no actual feelings at play.

“They are not real. It is make-believe. We are trying to convince people, so we were really kissing, but it’s just that it’s real for the characters, not for the actors. There are no feelings involved,” she stated.

Nadia added that as these moments are frequently filmed repeatedly in front of numerous crew members on location, actors must maintain emotional objectivity throughout.

She admitted that she doesn’t have a favorite co-star for on-screen kisses, even though she has a lot of experience with kissing moments from her career.

She also admitted that character depiction and kissing moments are two of the hardest parts of performing in movies.
