The placement results for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools for 2024–2025 have been made public by the Ministry of Education.
553,155 applicants were eligible for placement out of the 563,339 results that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) provided, the Ministry said in a statement.
Of them, 447,698 (or 80.93%) were assigned to one of their chosen schools automatically.
A further 104,918 qualified applicants could not be paired with any of the schools of their choice. It is recommended that these pupils use the Self-Placement program to choose a school.
Qualified students can check their placement status by going to the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org, entering their ten-digit index number and the completion year (for example, 123456789024 for 2024), and then clicking “Submit” to see their placement result.
The Ministry further tells the public that in addition to the 16 Regional Solution Centers and the National Solution Center at GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, anyone with issues can call the helpline at 0308258001.
