On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, 430 officers were commissioned into the Ghana Police Service’s Senior Officer Corps.
Under the direction of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, this vibrant event was held at the Police Training School in Tesano, Accra.
Henry Quartey, the Interior Minister, Daniel Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, and a group from many security agencies were also present.
There were 305 males and 125 ladies in the Police Academy Cadet Course 53.
The Police Service claims that since the Ghana Police Academy’s founding, this is the largest intake of cadet officers.
With 344 cadet officers enrolling, Cadet Course 52 set the previous record, which is now surpassed.
Achiburi Issah was named the Overall Best Cadet Officer at the occasion.
