Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) vice presidential candidate, celebrated her birthday on Friday, November 22, by donating to the Nyohini Children’s Home in Yipalain Tamale.
Bags of rice, cooking oil, biscuits, soft drinks, toiletries, and GH₵10,000 were given to the orphanage by the former Education Minister.
Prof. Opoku-Agyeman’s campaign trip in the Northern Region in advance of the election on December 7 fell on the same day as the birthday.
She promised her unwavering support and asked the orphanage’s managers to keep providing the kids with quality care.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang made a similar donation to the Central Region’s Ankaful Leprosarium as part of the birthday celebration.
