Young Man Arrested For Stealing iPhone To Impress Girlfriend On New Year

Kipo Seidu, a 20-year-old jobless guy, was taken into custody by police in Bole, Savannah Region, on suspicion of stealing an iPhone to give to his lover as a New Year’s present.

The woman, who would want to remain unidentified, claims that the suspect harassed her close to the Bole Community Center at approximately nine o’clock at night.

According to reports, Seidu demanded her phone while brandishing a sharp knife at her neck.

The victim gave up her iPhone out of fear for her life, but she was later able to identify Seidu.

Seidu was arrested after the event was promptly reported to the Bole Police.

Seidu admitted to the crime during interrogation, acknowledging that he had given his partner the stolen phone as a present.

However, authorities state that Seidu has refused to reveal the location of his lover, complicating efforts to recover the stolen phone.

Police have indicated that the case will be taken to court for further legal action.
