Felix Gyamfi Assumes Role Of Acting National Service Authority Chief

With effect from January 22, 2025, Felix Gyamfi has been named the National Service Authority’s Acting Director-General.

An official letter signed by President John Dramani Mahama’s secretary, Callistus Mahama, made this declaration.

The National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119) and Article 195(1) of the Constitution were followed in making the appointment.

The letter states that the appointment is pending the Authority’s governing Board’s constitutionally mandated advice, which must be provided after consulting the Public Services Commission.

Within 14 days, Mr. Gyamfi Felix is expected to confirm that he accepts the post.

The National Service Authority is essential in empowering Ghanaian youth via national service and preparing them for the workforce and national development.
