Willian Is Back At Fulham.

Willian has officially signed a contract with Fulham that will last until the end of the current season.

The 36-year-old will make his third appearance for the Premier League team, wearing the No. 22 shirt.

At the end of December, he left Olympiacos.

The Brazilian’s transfer did not have to be finalized by Monday’s transfer deadline of 23:00 GMT because Willian was a free agent.

“I think it’s a great opportunity again to play for this club, and I’m fully motivated to get on the pitch and do things well for this club,” Willian said on Fulham’s website.

“I’m completely happy, my family’s happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season, so I can’t wait to start with my teammates and do good things inside the pitch.”

Because of his prior stints with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Fulham—most notably, the Blues, where he won two Premier League titles—Willian is well-known to Premier League supporters.

Before joining Arsenal and spending the 2020–21 season at Emirates Stadium, he won five major awards during his seven years at Chelsea from 2013 to 2020.

Before joining Fulham in September 2022, Willian had a brief stint at Corinthians of Brazil. In two seasons, he scored 10 goals and made 67 appearances across all competitions.

Willian has made 317 appearances and scored 47 goals in the Premier League, earning him Goal of the Month honors in January 2018 and February 2023.

Willian could feature for Fulham in the FA Cup this Saturday when Marco Silva’s side travel to League One Wigan Athletic for a fourth-round tie.

The Cottagers’ next Premier League match is the following weekend, Saturday 15 February, when they host Nottingham Forest.
