The University of Ghana has awarded renowned Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah and her manager Samira Yakubu Master of Arts degrees in Communication Studies, marking new academic achievements.
Blogger Zionfelix took pictures of the pair as they came for the graduation ceremony wearing their academic gowns.
Samira and Jackie had previously attended the University of Ghana to earn their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Information Studies and Political Science, and they had been coworkers for a number of years.
