Five Arrested In Connection With MoMo Vendor’s Murder In Nkrankwanta

Five suspects have been taken into custody by the Bono Region’s Dormaa West District police in Nkrankwanta in relation to the Tuesday murder of Japhet Yeboah, a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor.
To help with investigations, the suspects—two men and three women—are presently being held.
Salifu Basoma, the assemblyman for the Asuopri Electoral Area, confirmed the arrest and stated that the police are currently searching for further accomplices.
In a daylight heist at the Nkrankwanta lorry stop, Japhet was shot dead by armed men who fled with an undetermined sum of money, including CFA and cedis.
Police are on high alert to apprehend those responsible for the tragedy.
In the meantime, the Nkrankwanta Traditional Council has also asked their gods for assistance.
