Ghana Post welcomes new leadership to drive digital and operational transformation

Ghana Post, the country’s designated postal administrator and leading courier service provider, has announced the appointment of Mrs Rita Sraha as Managing Director (CEO) and Mr Stephen Kingsley Bennieh as Deputy Managing Director, Finance & Administration (F&A).
A statement from Ghana Post on Monday described the appointments as the beginning of a new phase in the company’s transformation, aimed at enhancing efficiency, expanding digital services, and strengthening its role in Ghana’s logistics and postal sector.
During an official visit to introduce the new leadership, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, outlined his vision for the company. He stressed the need to position Ghana Post as a 360-degree government postal service, integrating e-commerce logistics, financial transactions, and digital services alongside traditional postal operations.
Experienced leadership to drive transformation
Mrs Rita Sraha, a Chartered Accountant and business consultant, brings expertise in finance, corporate governance, and strategic management. Her leadership is expected to strengthen financial discipline, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation at Ghana Post.
Mr Stephen Kingsley Bennieh, the newly appointed Deputy Managing Director for Finance & Administration, will be responsible for financial planning, compliance, and administrative functions. With a background in law and academia, he is expected to reinforce governance frameworks, enhance financial oversight, and implement operational policies to improve resource allocation and corporate management.
Engaging stakeholders for a modern postal service
In the coming weeks, the new leadership will engage key stakeholders, industry partners, and corporate clients to align strategies with Ghana Post’s transformation agenda.
“As the organization seeks to navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving postal and logistics sector, innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction will remain at the heart of its operations,” the statement added.
