Bayern bosses react to speculation over Kane’s future

"He's old enough to make his own decisions" – Bayern bosses react to speculation over Kane's future

Harry Kane’s future has recently been the subject of speculation, with reports suggesting that a clause could allow him to leave Bayern Munich next year for around €62 million.

Reacting to the rumours, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank recently said he would welcome Kane back to the club with open arms if the star striker were interested in a return.

At a press conference on Thursday, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany was asked about the speculation and said:

“He is in excellent form. I don’t want to open the door to another discussion. Harry wants to win titles, and he can do that at FC Bayern. That is his only focus.”

Sitting alongside Kompany, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl added:

“The way he presents himself, the way he behaves, shows that he is fully committed. He is old enough to make his own decisions, whether it involves a clause or not. We want to continue working with him for a long time.”
