Andre Ayew inspires Black Princesses ahead of Tunisia clash

Andre Dede Ayew brought his experience and passion to the Black Princesses when he visited their training ground at Legon on Friday.

The former West Ham midfielder came to encourage the young side as they get ready for their crucial FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup second leg qualifier against Tunisia.

Ayew reminded the players of the pride that comes with wearing the national shirt. “It’s always an honor to play for Ghana, and so when you get the chance, you need to go all out and do your best,” he said.

He also spoke about the power of the home crowd. “Playing in front of home fans is special, and I believe you’ll play well and finish the job in Ghana,” he told the squad.

Ayew promised his support on match day. “I’ll try to come and watch you play at the Accra Sports Stadium this Sunday. I know you’ll do your best and win.”

The Black Princesses take a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Sfax. The return fixture is set for September 28 at 15:00 GMT in Accra.
