A Breakdown Of Adu Boahene’s Alleged Properties

A  list purportedly belonging to Kwabena Adu Boahene, the former Director of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), includes landed assets in Ghana and London.

According to the document, the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) discovered houses in prestigious Accra neighbourhoods as well as two in London.

Attorney General and Justice Minister Dr. Dominic Ayine held a press conference after which these properties were made public.

According to Dr. Ayine, throughout his tenure, Mr. Adu Boahene transferred $7 million in public monies intended for a cybersecurity infrastructure project into his personal accounts.

According to EOCO’s research, Mr. Boahene is connected to various properties in Oyarifa and Accra’s posh Mayfair Estates, with initial payments made on a number of them.

The properties include:

  • No. 2 Stream Part Drive, valued at $1 million (GHS 15 million)

  • No. 6 Edith Avenue, purchased with an initial cash deposit of $500,000 as part of a deal involving five houses

  • No. 7 Edith Avenue, acquired for $200,000

Mr. Adu Boahene served as the Deputy Director-General before becoming the substantive Director between 2017 and 2025.
