Accra High School Gets 2,400 Tablets Through 1 Tablet-1 Student Program

Over 2,400 tablets were received by Accra High School from the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), according to confirmation from the school’s administration.

This initiative is a component of the government’s “One-Student-One-Tablet” strategy, which aims to provide digital learning platforms, electronic devices, and material to all Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the country.

Headmistress Evelyn Nabia addressed recent rumors that the school had not received the promised tablets during the school’s 101st Founder’s Day commemoration.

She made it clear that the gadgets are being stored and will be given out the following year, following teacher training on the tablet’s instructional materials.

Other dignitaries including Onukpa [Onukpai], the school’s alumni, joined the anniversary ceremony.

Current students as well as headmasters and headmistresses from different senior high schools attended the occasion.
