Ghana Premier League’s most valuable player, Afriyie Barnieh has completed his deal with Swiss side FC Zurich.
21-year-old Afriyie Barnieh has signed for FC Zurich. He has completed his medical and will receive a training compensation fee of around US$150,000 from the club.
The youngster was among the new Black Star players that excelled and showed their prowess in the World Cup friendlies and at the just-ended World cup.
Hearts of Oaks and the player sorted out the contract contention between them. The player renewed his contract before signing for the Swiss side.

Barnieh is Ghana’s breakthrough player of the year 2022. His rise through the ranks of the national teams is evident.
He joined Hearts of Oak in 2019 helping the team to win their first league trophy in decades. Afriyie became an important player for the Accra-based club.
