Antoine Semenyo Extends Bournemouth Contract For Five More Years

AFC Bournemouth of the Premier League has signed Antoine Semenyo, a striker from Ghana, to a new five-year contract extension.

Semenyo left Championship team Bristol City to join the Cherries during the January 2023 transfer window.

He made 11 Premier League appearances and scored one goal in his first half-season.

But in his first full season under manager Andoni Iraola, the 24-year-old performed admirably, playing in 36 games in all competitions.

Semenyo contributed two assists and eight goals in the league.

With Bournemouth, Semenyo has now committed to a long-term contract after his stellar 2023–24 season.

Prior to the forthcoming season, the club expressed trust in the Ghanaian forward’s skills.

Semenyo played for the Black Stars in the most recent international window as well, helping the team win consecutive games against Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament.

Antoine Semenyo has joined AFC Bournemouth’s preseason training squad as they get ready for the new campaign.
