Asamankese Family Loses Home As Fire Sweeps Through

A four-bedroom house in Asamankese was successfully quenched from a fire by members of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
The property was found entirely involved in flames, posing a serious threat to three adjoining units, and the emergency response team moved quickly to contain the fire.
According to preliminary findings, an electrical failure was the source of the incident. To stop the fire from becoming worse, the firefighters turned off the power right away. They then used fire hoses to put out the fire.
The crew needed two hours to completely put out the fire. Thankfully, there were no recorded casualties or injuries.
The GNFS has urged residents to be cautious with electrical connections and report fire outbreaks promptly to ensure a quick emergency response.
They also advised the public to regularly inspect their electrical systems and follow fire safety measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
