The NDC parliamentary race is heating up as Asiedu Nketia’s son has joined the race to represent his constituency.
Asiedu Nketia’s son is bracing himself to test the waters of the political frame. Being the son of the Chairman of The National Democratic Party and a Ghanaian permits him to context.
The son of the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has joined the party’s parliamentary race.

Charles Asiedu, former Organiser for the Ahafo Region, is lacing his boot to replace Hannah Bissue. Mrs Bissue has been NDC’s candidate in the constituency since 2012. He will come up against three more people in the race.
Asiedu Nketia’s son is set to capitalise on his father’s achievement in the party to win. He has been a force in the party in the Tano South. Charles Asiedu aims to maximize the NDC’s fortunes in Tano South and serve as an agent of development that will transform lives in the area.

Asiedu has been a two-term branch organizer who rose through the ranks to become a Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Organizer of the NDC. He is the immediate past Ahafo Regional organizer for the party.
He is not going to win because he is Asiedu Nketia’s son for that matter. The guy has paid his dues as a loyal NDC member over the years.
Asiedu was the National Campaign Coordinator for Dr Hanna Bisiw’s campaign for the position of National Women’s Organizer in 2018 and 2022 when she was re-elected.
Asiedu holds a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership and Governance from the University of Ghana Business school.

He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies (PR) from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). He has a certificate in Political Leadership and Party Organisation from the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy(GISD).
