Bawumia Donates $10,000 To Hasaacas Ladies Ahead Of 2024 CAF WCLQ

To help the Hasaacas Ladies Football Club prepare for their forthcoming CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has kindly provided $10,000 to the team.

Tamimu Issah, the Vice President’s Office Head of Communications, made the donation delivery.

“This support is crucial for Hasaacas Ladies as they prepare and gear up to secure a place in the 2024/25 CAF Women’s Champions League,” Issah said, underscoring the importance of the donation.

Hasaacas Ladies will face tough competition in Group B from Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle, Nigeria’s Edo Queens, and Niger’s AS Garde National.

The Sekondi-based squad, which advanced to the CAF Women’s Champions League finals in 2021, is keen to have a significant return this season.

The tournament is set to take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from August 10 to August 23, 2024, therefore the donation comes at a critical moment.
