Black Stars Arrive in Bamako for Mali Match

The Ghanaian Black Stars have made it safely to Bamako as they prepare for their important encounter with Mali.

To prepare for the much awaited match, a group of 26 players and team officials left Ghana on Tuesday night.

On Thursday, June 6, at the Stade du 26 Mars, the four-time African champions will take against the Eagles in the third round of Group I qualifications for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The club will hold a required practice on Wednesday afternoon under Otto Addo’s direction in order to be ready for the game on Thursday night.

The Black Stars first got together in Accra to start getting ready for the matches against Central African Republic and Mali.

The team will travel home to host the Central African Republic for Matchday 4 of Group I after the match against Mali.

The Black Stars, who are now in fourth place in Group I, need to win both games in order to increase their prospects of making it to the World Cup.
