In order to intensify their preparations for the forthcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger, the Black Stars have safely landed in Kumasi.
At the Accra Sports Stadium, the team’s training camp officially got underway on Monday with ten players.
The team was augmented by ten more players prior to their Tuesday early departure from Accra for Kumasi.
When they arrived, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Thomas Partey, and Fatawu Issahaku were among the twenty players visible. Two more players, including Jordan Ayew, are anticipated to join the team later.
The Black Stars’ upcoming training sessions are scheduled for today and Wednesday at Baba Yara Stadium. Both the public and media are welcome to attend today’s session.
On Monday, September 9, the team will travel to Berkane for their second Group F match against Niger, following their meeting against Angola at Baba Yara Stadium.
