Blakk Rasta Reveals Plan To Leave Ghana If NPP Had Won December 7 Elections
In a recent interview on Joy FM, Ghanaian broadcaster and singer Blakk Rasta stated that he intended to leave the nation prior to the election.
He claimed that he needed a better way to live while he awaited the election’s results, so he traveled overseas to help with that process.
He told Kwame Dadzie on Showbiz A-Z that he would not have remained in the country any longer if the NPP had remained in power.
“We’re just looking for change, and change is here. I was so fed up. I told everybody that should these guys win the election again, I would be out of this country.
A month before the election, I was out of the country. I was in Jamaica, I was in America and some other places just planning a very fluid exit should they win,” he said.
He went on to say that he would have followed through on his pledge to leave Ghana, just as Nigerian writer Wole Soyinka did when he said that if Donald Trump had won his first election, he would have destroyed his American passport.
Blakk Rasta claims that Ghana needed a vacation from the government since the NPP had put the nation in extremely dire circumstances.
