CAF Releases Official Match Schedule For 2025 AFCON

The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025 tournament schedule has been released by the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF). The continent’s biggest football event will take place at nine stadiums spread across six cities.

The newly constructed 69,500-seat Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat will host a Group A match between Morocco and Comoros on December 21, 2025, in a fitting setting for the tournament’s grand opening.

The host towns of Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier will each have one match venue, while Rabat will have four.

The Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, as well as Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir, will host the four quarterfinal matches.

The semi-finals will be in Rabat and Tangier, with the third-place play-off set for the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.

There will be 52 matches over 29 days in a feast of football for fans that showcases the skill and passion of African football.

Morocco, hosting the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON for the first time since 1988, is also preparing to co-host the FIFA World Cup 2030.
