Cape Coast And Accra Stadiums Prepared for Ghana vs. Sudan Match – NSA

The stadiums in Accra and Cape Coast are prepared to host Ghana’s match against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifications, according to the National Sports Authority (NSA).

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) prohibited the Baba Yara Stadium because of its unusable surface, hence the location for the matchday three games has not yet been formally decided.

Seth Panwum, the NSA Board Chairman, insisted that the Cape Coast and Accra Sports Stadiums are suitable for hosting the match, despite some reports suggesting it would take place in Ivory Coast.

“Cape Coast is ready, Accra is ready. Send your (CAF’s) men to come and have a look at it; this is where we are as of now so we are waiting for them (CAF) to come and I can assure you that if they come, the game will be played in Ghana,” he said when appeared before the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Culture and Tourism on Wednesday.

In preparation for its doubleheader against Kwesi Appiah’s Sudan the following month, the Black Stars will reconvene soon.
