Offset and Cardi B recently had their third child together. The rapper gave birth to a baby girl on September 7, according to the couple, who announced their split over the summer.
Cardi posted a carousel of images from the hospital on Instagram with the caption, “Prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖.”
Cardi is seen cradling her child in the primary image. Offset and his two children, Wave, 3, and Kulture, 6, are seen holding their baby sibling in other pictures. In addition, Offset was seen cradling the baby to his chest and laughing, saying, “I think she’s hungry, because she’s sucking my nipple.”
Yung Miami, Somaya Reece, Maiya the Don, Megan Thee Stallion, and more celebrities wished Cardi a happy birthday on Instagram.
A few days after filing for divorce from Offset on July 31, Cardi B made the announcement in early August that she was expecting her third child together. (Her most recent divorce application was dismissed two months after it was submitted in September 2020.)
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” Cardi wrote in her announcement post. “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
Cardi described the various challenges in their marriage in her Rolling Stone cover story that was released earlier this year.
“The part I love is that we really like each other, like a support system. We’re really both each other’s cheerleader,” she said. “We have our own bad stuff. We’re from two different worlds. Sometimes I cannot be … not that I cannot be a wife. It’s just like, my career takes my life. You know what I’m saying?
“My career comes first, then my kids come second,” she added. “And then sometimes I don’t realize that I’m putting so many things before my relationship.” She later reframed this list to place her children first.
